Job Summary: This role, reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, is an integral member of the organization Corporate Communications team, responsible and accountable for the overall corporate communications strategy and advisory, execution and leadership of the business sector you are assigned to, and/or PR Pillar you champion. To be successful in this role, you will use your skills and understanding in all aspects of PR covering traditional media, new media, branding and marketing communications to increase overall brand awareness of the business sector, while maintaining alignment with the Group?s messaging and objectives, supporting and protecting the reputation of the Group. You will develop, manage and execute an integrated PR plan aligns to the strategic direction and priorities of the Group, business sectors and leadership. Roles and Responsibilities: ? Strategy - To develop and execute the corporate communications activities for the Group and business sectors. Provide oversight and assess effectiveness for the quality delivery of these activities, ensuring alignment with business goals. ? Executive Communications/Speechwriting - Direct all executive communications and speechwriting on behalf of the senior leaders. ? Media relations - Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts and drive positive media coverage. Seek opportunities to maximise positive exposure for the sector, its businesses and its leadership as well as mitigating image/reputational risks. ? Brand - Drive overall brand and business messages which cross communications and marketing functions. Supervise brand Identity and branding efforts, and ensure alignment to the Group brand policy. Oversee corporate collateral development ? websites, brochures, corporate videos, exhibitions/trade shows. Oversee project management of exhibitions/trade shows. ? Issues management/crisis communications - Develop and manage an effective issues management and crisis programme that is integrated with the company?s business continuity programme. ? Champion/lead a communications practice area for the Group; support the Corporate Communications function in capability building & training of best practices. ? Supervise and work with communications specialists within the function on execution. ? Budget management for the business sector, and projects assigned to lead/champion. Requirements: Minimum 10 years of Corporate Communications experience in a large, global and matrix organisation. Experience in a PR/communications agency is an advantage. You have a solid understanding of PR, and a strong track record of involvement in different elements of PR and Communication activities including senior executive communications counselling and support. You must come with strong leadership experience and exposure in communicating to large groups of internal stakeholders at the regional or global level. You think strategically, have a passion for innovation and progress. You also have the confidence and influence to deal decisively and persuasively with people at all levels. Highly credible with senior management, you are a committed and motivated people leader. Your other strengths are self-reliance, problem-solving skills, a strong ability to juggle a variety of projects, and you have a drive for results.
